Notes: Speedy shave today - 1 and a half passes, but good enough for near BBS. Finished on a Llynn Idwal + WD40. It seems to work to bring untidy or overhoned edges back into shape. Stropped & shaved.

Pre Veleiro soap + Musgo Real Oak Moss shaving cream + Semogue 610 + Gillette Super Adjustable with Personna #1 + Sergio Tacchini splash with Musgo Real body cream

First use is this small Semogue after 1 week of palm lathering. Now is decently break in, although it seems that will soften a bit more with use.

A good shave anyway!

Cheers!

Today's effort

Hot Shower
Proraso Preshave
Proraso Green tub soap
Birth Razor - 1968 Gilette Superslim with Scottish Permasharp blade
Proraso After Shave

Wow, just wow!

You can't make a silk purse...........

Glad you are liking the Proraso and the blades.

Good combo, have you tried a small squeeze of Ingrams in with the Proraso to create "Uberlather"

Wow, just wow

Hot shower
Hot flannel
Taylor's Grapefruit cream scuttle lathered
Simpsons Tulip 1 super badger
Weber POL with bulldog handle
Lord super chrome (2)
Cold rinse
Witch hazel
Myrsol lemon aftershave

Today I broke out the Grapefruit cream :icon_razz: I've had this in my stock for a few weeks. It made some lovely rich lather easily. All together a fine comfortable shave

Brian

Muhle R41
Personna Lab Blue (2)
Semogue SOC boar
Proraso white soap
Lucky Tiger Face Tonic
Penhaligon's Castile

Was typing this up before I'd applied fragrance and was in the mood for Noir Epices. I'm having a black-jeans-and-leather-jacket sort of day - reaching for the soapy, neroli formality of Castile seemed like a fun contrast to run with instead.

Another very close shave, but I've not been convinced to buy an R41. An unsual nick to the right of my nose. But I do want to have a few more shaves with it before I ;ass it on to the next in line.
