Nice shave something wasn't quite right. I I love the scent of the soap it just doesn't feel slippery enough for me. Nice two pass shave.

Fantastic shave tonight. Just one ATG pass and a few touch-up's to achieve a BBS result.
Finished with Witch Hazel and Bay Rum splash.

Used to live in Manchester, and visit pretty regularly with work. Been there a few times, excellent pub, I usually find myself opting for the steak n kidney pudding.

A companion had that and pronounced himself pleased. I had the corned beef hash, myself, as I tend to :).

I have good memories of Sam's Chop House, spent many an evening in there whilst working in Manchester, that was one of my key eating places along with San Carlo, East Z East, Chaopraya, and a Chinese that I can't remember the name of, but it was in the Northern Quarter. just along the road from the new Holiday Inn. Happy Days :)

Weber Polished, Trig (3)
Kent BLK8.silvertip
Mitchell's Wool Fat
Lucky Tiger Face Tonic
L'Occitane Eau captivante

Bowl lathered, unusually for me. Better than yesterday with the MWF which was too aerated (and therefore dry).

Prep Pre Shave
Valobra Stick
Men-U Brush
Super Speed
Gillette Yellow
Witch Hazel Gel.

And the Oscar goes to me for a good shave this morning.
And I would like to thank all the venders that made it all possible.
With out them I would not be here today:icon_razz:

Brush: Neep #947 yew ball and bobbin silvertip
Soap: Monsavon
Scent: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet

Monday:
Gillette Fusion ProGlide
Edwin Jagger BBB
Proraso Cream, Red
Zino by Davidoff EDT

Spent a sizeable chunk of the weekend deciding what I can buy/try next/again.

After lots of hemmin' and hawin' I didn't find anything that took my fancy.

Might give Clinique / Elemis / Clarins / No. 7 / Lab Series gels a whirl.

Pre hot towel + LEA lanolin soap + Omega 31052 + Gillette Contour Plus with Gillette cartridge + La Toja "Manantiales" splash and balm

Many, many years have passed since last time I used a Contour. I now need a cartridge razor for travelling and I decided to use one as classic as possible like this metallic Contour handle. I have found two more in my family houses in plated colour, but I like this black one more, hehe. I'm going to compare all the Contour compatible cartridges to decide which one will shave me better with this handle, so I started with the most common: Gillette. Later I'll test Wilkinson and Feather ones.

This first shave was not bad, but lubricating strip is a mess...

Cheers!

Prep: Shower
Scuttle: Schwarzweisskeramik basic
Brush: Simpson Chubby 1 Best Badger
Cream: Castle Forbes Lime
Razor: Levering Razor Co. "Mail Pouch"
Astringent: Osma Alum
Aftershave: TOBS No.74 Victorian Lime

Notes: 2 and a half pass BBS, little alum sting afterwards.

Beautiful razor, thin, moderately stiff blade, spent a while beautifying it with some metal/pastic polish before honing up.
