It has a strong chocolate smell but there is a soapy smell with it, too. Performance as great as all the others Kim does.

First time with this blade and blimey, it's an aggressive un. Got a really close shave, but with a bit of burn and a weeper on my upper lip. It's probably too aggressive to be paired with this razor to be honest.

Am giving the Cade another go and it's OK actually. I just have to really heavily load the brush, and attack the puck between passes too. I won't get another when it's gone (in two decades time), but I'm glad it's not a duffer.

I'm a fan of these blades. They are a bIt fussy about what razor you use them with. Great in a Progress but then what blade isn't?

Last use of my last Rapira until the batch linked to on eBay in a recent thread turn up. Used to give a comparison shave with my recent swordfish encounters.

Nothing special - Proraso preshave and soap. Rapira blade in gillette slim set to 5. Marlborough aftershave and boots no. 7 balm.

The only slight abberation is that I managed to miss my usual XTG pass and so went straight from WTG to ATG. However, i still managed an excellent, close shave with no irritation so no harm done.
