Tuesday

Kent T4
Martin de Candre
Puma 6/8 No. 1 FF
L'Oreal Men Expert 24hr Balm
Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza

This combination worked a treat today! The MdC is without a question my favourite soap all-round. The Colonia Essenza worked wonders in this freezing weather we're having. Not that cold for some parts of the world, but in Southern England temperature of -8C are just unheard of!!! Brrrrrrrrr!!!

Prep Dr Organics Manuka Honey Soap
Razor Vintage Orion Kikuboshi 13/16
Strop Kanayama Cordovan #8000
Brush Semogue OC Special 2012
Cream Simpsons
Alum & Witch Hazel
Una Brennan Neroli Moisturiser
Penhalgon's Castile Edt

Great shave two pass very smooth, snowing heavily, taking the dog for a stroll around the local park.

Soap from Aleppo - Simpson Chubby 1 best badger - Merkur 37C Slant - Derby Extra #2 - Pre JASÖN - Shaving soap Mitchell's Wool Fat - Alum block - Thayers Original - ASB Truefitt & Hill - ASL Honeybee Gardens Bay Rum.

Tuesday:

Merkur 37C slant
Gillette 7 o'clock yellow
Penhaligons nickel brush
TOBS lavender cream
Penhaligons English Fern EdT

Usually just use the slant to clear the long stubble on a Monday but I waste a lot of blades that way, so it got a second bite at the cherry today. Not bad on short stubble either.

I woke up this morning, looked myself in the mirror and realised that my 13/16" Bengall did an excelent job yesterday!
So I desided to have an one pass shave with a DE.

-ToOBS Sandalwood soap

Afternoon, gents.

Tuesday:

Prep: Claus Porto Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJ DE89 head with an iKon Bulldog handle
Blade: Astra Blue (3)
Brush: Vulfix Grosvenor
Shave cream: Erasmic
A/S: Denim

Today's raspings were a 'FACE OFF' experience involving the following:

Jagger 89L
7 o'clock yellow (2)
Vulfix 'Bodger'
Old Spice Indian-made SC/Ingram SC
Taylor's Mr Sidney's AS
Astral cream
Witch Doctor gel
More Astral cream
2 Ibuprofen
2 Paracetamol
A long lie down in a darkened room

If anyone is a trifle cold this fine Winter's day, they would find warm respite beside the blazing glow of my ruinously red visage.

Prep: Nivea Sensitive Face Wash, Hot Flannel
Soap: Cade
Brush: Simpson Duke 3 Best
Razor: Weber POL/Bulldog
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Black/Indian (2)
A/S: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Weleda After Shave Balm
EDT: L'Occitane Eau du Badian

Not as smooth as I would have liked... two days in a row with the Indian Gillette Blacks. Perhaps these blades aren't working out for me, at least not in the Weber.

Today's shave

1950s gillette super speed
Feather blade
Kent bk4 brush
Tabac shaving soap

Result smooth but blotchy shave, yes it's the tabac that's doing it,me and it don't mix, shame as I like the sent, and it lathers nicly

So I'll pif the soap puck on to someone else....but the Soap Bowl will be staying with me however.

Palmolive Stick
Semogue OC Boar
Super Speed
Astra sp
Witch Hazel Gel.
Not the best one today. One shave too many with this blade and its not as if i am
short of a blade or two:icon_rolleyes:

Tues 22nd

Hot shower
Hot flannel
Palmolive stick grated into plastic tub scuttle lathered
Simpsons Colonel brush
Weber POL stainless bulldog handle
Personna lab blue (2)
Cold rinse
Nivea post shave balm

Very fine close shave, Pleased with the lather from the 49p Palmolive stick. Works well grated into plastic tub easy to swirl the brush over it.
