Result: Very, very clean
Ahh - what a lovely shave and shower after 12 hrs of sweating out what ever's in my system (need some time more to recover, but boy does it feel much better). The Alcolado Glacial was very refreshing as well. I've been looking for a large vintage Friodur for some time, and I finally found one in good nick (in Japan ) and with a lovely thin hollow ground grind. I could tell already when I was setting the bevel it was going to take a great edge (you can tap/pop hair right off it)

My initial impression of the Timor blade (which I have not used before) was bad, it felt 'tuggy' on the first pass, I then went on to get a perfect BBS. Really strange, I now don't know what to think about these blades, I will try again tomorrow.

result: 2 passes+ touch ups, very smooth and irritation free. Palmolive - soo cheap, yet very very good - I should use it more often.
