A lovely super smooth sunday morning shave, the weather put pay to my 30 mile trail ride, well it's going to have to be tomorrow.

My wife still has the Anne Geddes book on the table, so I could not resist putting it back in the photo background. Mitchell and Taylor are twins (5 weeks). Mitchell (left) was snoring at the time. The boots were made especially for the photo.

Mediocre shave but my skin, remaining stubble aside, feels well cared for. Even after scrambling up a mountain (Tryfan in N Wales). Followed 'Marco's method' to the letter for the Cella - tonnes of lather but I prefer less water. It's one I think I'm going to have to work on to click with it, I think, which is strange as many consider it an absolute doss to get along with. Maybe it's the brush.

A really nice shave, this little Schick must be one of the easiest to shave with razors ever made.

No work tomorrow, so decided to do a DFS with two passes (WTG and XTG).

Worked very well, and was quick too (about 12 mins). I could do this in the morning before work if I needed to. Only problem is I missed a small patch by my ear which is annoying.

On a positive note, this old Kent brush is great. I reckon once it's broken in it's going to be fabulous. Although the hair is Super badger it's going a really nice bit of 'scritch' at the tips and isn't too floppy which means it's great for both bowl and face lathering.

A very good 2 pass (WTH + XTH) shave with a few touch ups and only a slight tingle from the alum block.
Trying to use up a few things from my supply before i buy anything else :D
