Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap, cold
Razor: Dovo 5/8" "best quality"
Brush: Neep #955 soapstone ball and bobbin silvertip
Soap: Trumper's Eucris
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Green Ginger
Scent: Lalique Encre Noire

A good one. First wearing of the scent: male, woody, interesting, very good staying power and projection on me (normally accents barely leave my skin). A keeper, I rather think.

May have accidentally bought some more straights. Like, three. I'm a bad man.

Yes Doc, it is nice to share our toys with the other kids,

At least you'll be using those three razors. Talk about accidentally buying stuff, I've got a few straights myself that I somehow acquired over the years. Never plan on using one, but I seem to have about a dozen laying in a corner of the arsenal. Now what is up with that?

Picked up another long comb New courtesy of Fleabay (it's one of the ones with a white handle) and I have to say I'm struggling to find any other razor I own that gives as much bang for the buck as these beauties. They just deliver every time.

So, a cracking BBS.

On a sour note, in a burst of clumsiness (for which I am renowned) I managed to drop my Woodhead scuttle and put a sodding chip in the lip. Bloody hell. :(
 
Had a quick shave tonight as I'll be out early tomorrow morning:

For vanity's sake and because the RR XXX is already quite perfumey, I splashed on some Floris Special No 127. I think I might wear this and their No 89 on separate wrists tomorrow for comparison's sake. First use of this Supermax SS blade and I didn't get on with it in this razor. Will slip in into my Slim Adjustable next shave to see whether's there's any joy to be had there.
