Couple of rough shaves with this slant since I picked it up last week. Maybe it doesn't like these blades. I'll try it with a few others before making up my mind.

Result: Very, very clean :D
This is a very nice razor, american steel at it's best. I think these are very good value razors and that they can match many, much more expensive blades. Just my two cents though. Nannys soap's and brush was top notch aswell :D

*I am currently working my way through a selection of blades kindly given to me by a fellow member. This was my first outing with a Dorco and it cut through two days stubble with no bother. More aggressive than the Derby, but with no irritation.

Monday Mornin' it was all I hoped it to be...
Really like this razor, best Merkur that I have. Ok I only have 5, but it's the best of the 5.
Preshave: Noxzema modified mix
Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Supermax SS
Soap: Omaga black tub
Aftershave: ClubmanPinaud
Really like this razor set on 3 it gives a nicer and closer shave than the Merkur Slant 39. Two passes and I'd say equal to the results from a muhle 41R. Again only fault is that it has the smooth finish but alum on the fingers solves that. Really like thus razor!
