This morning I'm at work, (prospective parents being shown around), so an early shave:

Bulldog face wash
Trumper's Sandalwood cream, face lathered with
New Forest High Mountain Badger
Gilllette Rocket, with
Astra SP (6)
Trumper's Sandalwood Skin Food and cologne

One little neck weeper, otherwise lovely.

No shave Friday.

Saturday:
NF badger
DR Harris Arlington cream
#21 Aristocrat
Gillette Spoiler
Barbershop Bay Rum

Three passes, another nice shave.

Saturday noon

Feather AC RG in black Midnight Wood scales with Feather ProGuard blade
Vie-Long two band E16510
Palmolive
Korres Quercetin & Oak antiwrinkle night cream
Mennen Skin Bracer after shave

One pass plus touch-ups this time, a fine job. The Vie-Long two band is very prickly but if you face lather using only the tips (and not by squashing and swirling the whole brush on your face) then the results are even better.

Don't know why I picked up this 'night' moisturizer by Korres this time, possibly because I have it there to be used after cleansing the face and before going to bed but I never do that...

Saturday

Gillette Tech (Ball-end, gold plated, no date)
Gillette Platinum 'Swede' Blade
New Forest 2201 Brush
Cella
Clinique Post Shave Soother

Up and out reasonably early to take advantage of some good weather and good light.

Excellent shave.

Ian

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep;

First time using this imposing made in France Leresch razor, graciously sent on loan by Robert Otten. I gotta admit to having some apprehension before the shave, which turned out to be justified.....heh.

Now this was only my first attempt and I'm sure there's some technique tweaking that would help, but I may not end up finding out. This thing may be too much for me to play around with.

For now I'll just say the shave was very smooth in most spots, and it was even close in a few others that usually require a little pressure. Yeah, I had NO desire to push any envelope with the Leresche. Zero pressure is the name of the game here. Talk about a wide blade gap.......wowie. Not much room for user error with this razor. Heh, plus, it's pretty darn loud, which is interesting.

BBS results,

Martin
Here's a couple pics of the Leresche:

Well after a week of using my Shavemaster today it was time for a change of razor.
Usual Hot Shower prep.
Gillette " Dodgy" President.
Perma Sharp Super blade
Vito's (Cheers Pedro)
Neep Custom Brush
Steves Bay Rum
Keep going back to the Prez and teamed up with the Perma Sharp it gives a great no fuss shave and I really like the Vito's.
All in all a good shave.
Think I may have to stock up with more of these Perma Sharp blades though as they seem to suit me very well.

And to finnish a nice mug of freshly ground coffee (Brazilian/Vietnamese 75%/25% mix)..............Thanks to the Algerian Coffee Shop)

Neep brush and Algerian Coffee Shop... I like your style.

I'll be using my Neep poplar brush and finishing my shave with an Ethiopian coffee from the Monmouth Coffee House. From memory I think it's a Mocha Sidamo. Freshly ground too, using a ceramic grinder i got from the Algerian shop.
