my red irritated neck is back, it's quite bizarre it's worsens as the day and then week goes on, 2 days rest at the weekend seems to almost get rid of it then the cycle begins again

Meeting an old workmate for a round of golf later (only 9 holes, par-3). I reckon I'm nearly ready for an adults' course now. Got one 1 mile from my house and another 2.5 miles away.

Went for a second pass casual S-N, bit too casual as the alum block informed me. I won't wax lyrical about mist in my valley this morning, like Ian, but i will be digging out my cycle lights :roll:

Wednesday morning
Pre: Hot shower
Brush: Semouge 2000
Razors: Magnetic (I think it´s a D Peres) + Merkur 25c
Soap: Tabac
Post: Proraso
AS: Tabac
Strop: Neil Miller
Result: Ok
Head is cleaner than the face. I did the head first and even though I had enogh lather for a couple of more rounds than I did (I did 2 on head and 2 + touch up on face), I only got a half decent shave on face. Maybe I was a little to stressed.

I decided to use some samples today, so had a completely free shave!
AOS pre-shave oil (more of a gel, actually, and for something that's supposed to be fragrance free, there's an awful lot of clove going on).
Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn cream
Futur (not a sample, unfortunately)
Gillette 7 o'clock (part of a generous PIF from Matt)
New Forest 2201 (again, not a sample)
Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn after-shave lotion
The Futur/7 o"clock combination was my first DE shave, which seems an age ago now. I took my time (because I can!) and the result was a pleasant, close shave. I like the EJ cream, but can't justify buying any more at the moment - besides, I like Acca Kappa more!
