Its been a good day. In June I injured my hamstring while doing a flashy kick in martial arts and having taken things easy it now feels as though its pretty much healed, so I got out on the bike with my local cycling club and did a short (30 mile) ride and tonight its feeling fine. We stopped half way at a café and I had a coffee and slice of Key Lime pie; so todays SOTD carries on that theme.

I think this blade size is ideal for me. Second time I shave with this beauty - the first time it was my third or fourth straight shave, if I remember correctly. I had ended up with a couple of major weepers, the blade was freshly restored and honed by Neil so her being tack sharp and with my technique still trying to find its whereabouts I just could not let her touch my face without suffering any damage...

Today no problems, a sweet and effortless shave, a lovely blade overall and much more smooth and forgiving that I would have expected. First time with the Tabac after more than a year, very nice as also is of course the Floid Suave after shave locion.

Have a great day and keep those great SOTDs coming!

The BIC blade was useable, just. Nowhere near as sharp/smooth as the Astra.

Prep-Hot shower
Razor-Sheraton O/C ( day 2 with the monkey fron the good 'ole usa)
7O'Clock Black (4)
Brush- Neep Elite
Palmolive cream
Speick A/S
2nd outing with the Sheraton O/C , 2 pass shave, think I pushed the 7 O'Clock too far as I got a slight tug towards the end of the shave and redness on my neck.
Think I will stick to 3 shaves with these blades. Not sure what tomorrow will bring, different blade.............but which one?
