(rather belatedly)

Sunday

Gillette aluminium-handled Tech
Feather
Body Shop Maca Root cream
Kent BK4
Alum Block
Lloyds' Chemist Witch Hazel
Simple for Men AS Balm
Floid Blue AS

Now that was SO much better than the last time - a Feather really does turn the Tech into great little razor. Still struggles a little to clear the stubborn troublesome areas, but a vast improvement on using it with a Shaving Shack Israeli blade.

Pre: Hot shower
Brush: Ikon 24 mm chubby silvertip
Razor: Art by George Butler & co
Soap: Tabac
Astringent: Indian alum
Post. Proraso
AS: Tabac

Result: This blade needs a new edge, three nicks and some pull, but it was a clean enough shave. It´s a very nice and easy blade to shave with though, so it´s Miller time for her.

You take a good photo Mikael. Mine's more like a quarter, maybe half hollow: put it this way: it's quiet.

Thank you! Your´s doesn´t sing, isn´t that boring? I like them more like yours though, more weight and sturdier blade, but they do shave very good when more hollow ... I´m a little conflicted on this :?

I know just what you mean. Most of my razors are noisy full hollows, so the Butler makes quite a nice change. Heavy, too. Here's my attempt at a picture:

Talking of hefty razors, here's my soon to be restored Fenton, which is very nearly a wedge.

Monday Night:

  • - Lots of cold water for dunkin' and rinsing (for the razor as well as my face)
    - Merkur/Dovo Silvertip Vision with
    • Mellor & Russell shave cream Sensitive Skin with Calming
      • (£0.97 at Wilko's - my first menthol cream)[/list:u][/list:u]
        - bakelite Minora 3-Piece slotted up with
        • a Tesco's IP (aka: a TIP)[/list:u]
          - MICA (Magical Ice Crystal - Alum)
          • ... potassium alum crystal deodorant stick 120g @ £0.99 from 99p Shop! - WOOT![/list:u]
            - Thayers' Peach Witch Hazel
            - Kartopu kolonya Limon as AS
            • ...320ml @ £1.95 at a Turkish continental variety store
              • - Tutun (with umlaut-equivalents over each 'u'), their "Tabac"-scented cologne was about £2.35, iirc[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

Stubble was Not Too Heavy tonight, but I want to try and shave once a day to season the old epidermis nice and proper-like. Other than a couple of spot er, ... spots um, ... spot-spots(!) I took it easy around, I ended up with a VFF* and NBS** for my efforts.

                Notes:
                • * - VFF = Very Fine Finish
                  **- NBS = Nothin' But Smooooooth[/list:u]
