Well the first time using this razor since I gave it a light restore, after a lucky bid secured this for me on the Bay, in fact the first time the razor as ever been used by anyone or hone for that matter, because it was unused in the original box. It gave up a very nice shave, I think I will put away as more of a collectable, such a rare item to find a 70 year old razor unused with the original box and instruction leaflet. Two pass shave minor clean up feeling good.

Nice picture. Try a colour frame with the picture in B+W. I think that would work well.

With 2 1/2 bottles of blue and a full bottle of amber, I'm deluding myself that it will go back into production by the time I am finished!

Second shave with this razor/blade combo......very nice!

After four weeks solid with the Aristocrat, I felt like a change of razor. Nice shave, but I missed the heft of the heavier head.

Lovely.

This is the 2nd shave with this razor since I honed it and it was smoother than the 1st.
End result was very clean.​
 
wednesday late shave:

EJ de89 Barley, Timor (3)
C&S No 88 shaving soap
Vulfix 404 Bodger

2 passes, for unknown reason I've been reducing the number of passes and touchups, still get decent shaves but not pushing for perfection!

finished off with alum block, several rinses, Barbershop Bay Rum and some Clinique post-shave healing cream.

Good Enough For Me!
