3 passes: WTG (7), XTG (7), XTG (5), plus touch-ups (3).

Result: SAS, plus weeper.:x

Not a happy bunny. First, I made a pigs' ear of lathering. The lather didn't seem to build properly; by the time I'd tried applying it to my face and realised it wasn't penetrating the brush, the stuff in the bowl collaped. Added more cream and wter and just squuezed enough for 3 passes plus touch-ups. Then, after getting over-confident on my reduction passes, I tried a bit of blade buffing under the jawline on 3 (I thought I'd given-up doing that :oops: ) and gave myself a weeper. To top it off, the shave isn't brilliant anyway, as I dialled-down too far on the third pass given that I had 2 1/2 days' growth. :( After finishing, I had another go lathering the cream, and, using more cream and water, I got the result I should have had in my shave.

The other brush is an old Swedish NOS brush, it´s warranted to be a "digging swine", which in old Swedish could be a badger (it´s not in this case though), but also a Vole, a Porcupine or a Wolverine :D

I don't know which sounds cooler, porcupine or wolverine. It's a fine looking brush anyway.

Another very nice shave this morning with this razor/blade combo. Just the tiniest bit more bite than my Executive set on #4.....feels nice on my face and feels good in my hand.
