I'm on day three with confirmed Covid, and I feel crap.
I thought that a shave might lift my spirits, it hasn't, but at least I've removed three days worth of mostly grey stubble and I look a bit less poorly.

Much thanks gentleman

Anyone who may think Covid is over needs to think twice.
My symptoms is definitely worsening, and I fear I may have to seek medical help if it doesn't begin to abate in the next 24 hours - yes, it is that scary.
When I was four years old I contracted Diphtheria, and the level of sickness is very similar.

My heartfelt thanks for all of the kind wishes

Having managed to rest (without coughing and spluttering) for an hour or so, I feel a bit more with it.
As with Influenza, i seem to feel worse in the morning and evening times, with some spells of respite during the daytime..

Enjoy your Sunday, Gents

P
Wishing you to recover soon but it'll take time. Just be patient, drink lots of fluid...over here the most popular for C-19 is fresh coconut juice.
Hang tough and I am sure you will get over it...all the best!!

Prep: Shower, Palmolive Olive Oil Soap
Pre: Proraso Green
Soap: Proraso Green
Brush: 24mm Yaqi Sagrada Familia Tuxedo
Razor: Merkur 34C HD
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Green (1 & 2)
Post: TDS Kayaput ASL

Setup for both Saturday and Sunday. I do love a bit of Proraso Green! And the Gillette Green has been missed from my routine for a long time - it was one of my favourite blades when I started with a DE razor but has been overlooked in favour of many others. The performance was brilliant through the Merkur, and I will happily reintroduce the remainder of my Greens back into more regular usage.

Comparing last night's really excellent and quite revelatory shave with the post-2015 Merkur 37C ...

Yes! It's more aggressive, has a wider cutting angle and does have that comforting scraping chatter that makes you feel like you are indeed shaving with something that is doing twice the cutting with every stroke. Single pass shave achieved, same result as the Merkur ... but so much more a sensory experience.

Merkur have refined the heck out of their 37C and it now glides like an electric BMW. The Razorock is like stepping into an M5 with all the evocation of a classic E39. Car buffs will get it.

D157A6C8-5BDF-4836-B54C-A72DCF870AA7.jpegBrilliant Brilliant shave tonight & in my mind one of the most underrated razor out there,
A razor no one really speak about yet the history & performance of this razor is class.
I’m actually criticising myself as iv only used it twice,
Paired with the Treet Silver i can’t explain how good the shave was.
The soap obviously contributed to a brilliant shave and again underrated.
Honestly i feel i’m harping on but a 3 pass shave with zero feedback on the splash for me is top drawer.
No aggressive and very mild but not as mild as a feather,
I would say it’s probably the most efficient razor i own.
Onwards & upwards Lads
Stay Safe
