Post: Alum, Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Weleda After Shave Balm

First shave with a Rapira Swedish Super Steel (ordered from Russia, delivered in 10 days) and I'm very impressed. Smooth, close and very comfortable :)

Excellent shave either the best or second best I've had. Both of the contenders for best shave were using a Personna Super Platinum blade.

MWF Shaving soap


Result a clean but mild shave.

Not satisfied with these blades it gave up on the 3rd pass but with my beard it done well for a 1960s vintage. But will be passed on to some one with a softer beard me thinks.

It's a large brush, indeed and actually more/bigger than any man would really need (well, maybe some basket ball player would consider it as a good size), but I strangely like it, it's like a giant with silk gloves puts on the lather :D It also "eats" approx. twice as mush product as a Chubby 3 :icon_surprised:

My week of luxury shaving fell at the first hurdle with a 59p shaving stick.

But I got a BBS from it, so who gives a stuff!

The above combo works very well. I really like Polsilvers. Shame I only have 100.
