It's back to injector land...with vintage gillette blades.
These carried a health warning.
'These are Freakin' sharp!!'
or something like that it was in American.
So injected one out and popped a new one in.

Reduced razor phaser mechanism to 4. Enough to stun a large parrot.

Used Old Spice musk cream for a truly 70's experience.
Badger NF two band.
Unction to finish.

This was sharp sharp sharp but not aggressive sharp sharp sharp like the OLd type.

Oh no this simply shaved my whole body in one go.....
That sharp.
In fact it shaved the cats, next doors dog, Canon, and the Postie who happenend to passing by with an armful of Christmas parcels. And our Postie is a woman!!

It shaved the staff at the local 'Heron' store at the end of our street and on to the Lidl at the other end.
All this happened simultaneously while I was at my sink.
Now that is sharp aint it?

I reckon.

Suffice to say I think this may the cleanest shave I've bumped into.

I take it you're enjoying their sharpness? Be careful.
My girlfriend bought one of those mirrors with a pattern stencilled on. Spent forty minutes this morning trying to shave a seagull off my cheek.

well.
I used less pressure today on the Schick.
Same as DE sgaving.
Bing!!! Excellento.
I did the first pass with my #58 which has in Israeli personna in.
So second pass only with the sharpajector.
Sooo good a finish I nearly cried.
Well ....you know...not actual crying.
Just a weeny sniffle.
This was helped with a lovely fresh lather from my Nivea sensetive and a cool finish from Lush Dirty boy cream.

Three toys to try. Dovo slant from the lovely Dodgy.

Yes I have managed to find a cased #16 from the kind and helpful Brian at Executive shaving company up in Glasgow.
Just by chance really.....excellent.
Just when I thought I was slowing down...........

Two close shavers in one today.
Ist pass merkur 1904 with a yellow
Second pass Schick.
Gulp.
Lovely.
As I write this my face is still like I used a shark.
Oh yes.

My soap was a puck of Surrey. I transferred it to a bigger pot.
It went mushy. A bit.
O still used it.lather of slick lathers ensued.
A fabulous rich creamy not too thick mass that worked really well.
So lots to try.
All good.
#16 all cleaned.
Shiny.
Looks tempting.
More exciting mornings to come!!

Surrey soap I mushed.
Great lather. Really cushioning.
NF two band.
Lush dirty boy cream.
Actually a third pass under the CCC.
Very close shave but slightly pink under there now!!
So next shave Christmas day.....
Mmmmm what shall I use...

Given two shave mugs!!!
A wade one with s traction engine on and a crabtree and Evelyn one by masons from 1991 from parents!!!
Used masons one with an unidentified puck and had a hot luxurious shave.
Now I can use random pucks and enjoy them!!
Do you know that what I like about Vhristmas.
Getting gifts you'd never buy yourself and finding out how great they are!!

I know this razor has a reputation but.....
2,5 tomorrow then I will back it off.

Dear dilemma

Progress report.

Changed blade. Wilkinson saloon pack from India.
I'd been prattling around with the razor and cut my thumb on the yellow.
Don't ask. It involved red wine and a strange compulsion to 'check the blade gap'.
Thumb now plastered.
Like owner!!
Up early.
Macca root.

Two weepers still with razor on 2!
A better shave though in terms of finish.
I can feel it tugging especially on the neck.
It needs the lightest of touches.
1.5 tomorrow. Or Sunday. Maybe day off would good.
It feels like there is a lot of blade gap. 5 would be off the scale.
It already feels like a 7 or so on the Gillette scale.
I like a challenge though and this is not like some others.
One of the cats is ill. !!
Been fighting. Septic lumps at base of tail....
Antibiotics given. Behaved very well at the vets.
