Another peerless shave.
Just ease of use no rash no tugging no pull.
Lovely.
Have ditched idea of fake razor.
Now dodgy knows that's it really.
He's been so good to me and my family. Especially the way he's managed our funds.
Where else can I get my e4 shower gel?
Plus. And a big plus. The after care cream for the cats?
Plus. And a bigger plus. Drawing me into the light of vintage shaving and allowing me to fulfil my potential.

Hey hey something new!
Went to Doncaster shopping with oldest daughter and went to Lush in Frenchgate.
Great staff with fab attitude and chatted to Shakira about wet shaving. No shaving soaps as yet but...
she came up with the idea of trying Trichomania conditioning solid shampoo. It has coconut oil in so should provide a good base for a shave. It pretty neutral in colour and does not smell over overpoweringly of coconut.

Lathering was easy but not hugely lathery. Again the smell was well balanced with coconut to the fore.
On the face it produced an even thin ish lather with a slicker than I thought property. Nice. In the hand it is slippery and cushioning despite not being a fluffy soap like say macca root.
The #16 and the magical gillette blade were still used to cut through the two days of growth.
No problem, two passes and a good finish. The soap provided a good degree of protection and it is very soft in the water too. It must be the conditioner. It left my razor really clean a silky creamy sheen to the water in the sink too. No soap scum to speak of at all. The Profs soap does this too me too.
My face was left soft and clean feeling. Like I had added moisturiser in fact. So all good. Except the thin ish lather.
So its not too overpowering, good coconut balance, moist and cushioning.
Not bad for a shampoo!!!
Finished with some Lush Dirty shave cream. I use this as an after. I think you are supposed to shave with it but I like to use it as an after care product.

Lovely refreshing shave.

I'm surprised the shampoo worked! I am very tempted to pick some up, especially smelling of coconut. I might have a wander there at the weekend.

Thought I'd post a magical blade picture.
Lush shampoo good!! Slippery and soft. Not too much loft though.
My shave today was fab. Not quite as much taken off. But still effective.
And veryirritation free.
I'm almost tempted to back count and see how many goes I've had with this so far....

I think it may do until Christmas.
At least.
Christmas 2012 maybe.
If the world hasn't imploded or something.
Imploded financially maybe.
Or meteors.
Or comets.
Or some such.
Blade will still be there sharp and shiny though.
Like a cockroach. Indestructible.

Noticed that I too have some magical blades ("The Spoiler" Super Stainless) which I was going to pass on to you. Only a couple left in dispenser by the looks of it. Already wrapped up so you'll get them anyway, probably about the same time I get the same from you.
Don't know the year of mine but I think they're the same so you'll like them. Not a lot, but you'll like them.

Actually you WILL like them, you already said. Paul Daniels was wrong - who'd have thought it, eh? Not so f***ing magic now, is he?
