First shave for me in 3 days and it’s come at this late hour.
But what a wonderful shave it was,
3 passes of luxurious lather,
i haven’t used this soap for months which is a pitty as i like it a lot and the name pretty much sums me up just now.
Obviously i couldn’t use The Rambler without using the Adventure Series brush,
They just go hand & hand.
The last time i was here the uk was 3 hours ahead of me but im come back & the uk is now 4 hours ahead.
weird but true.
Never mind it’s bed time for me
Enjoy your week
&
as usual
Stay Safe

Greetings,

Early morning Shave,

comparison Frankenrazor shave of the week with the Muhle R41/ + Schmidt R10 Handle. The verdict ?

I went back to original R41 top cap just for comparison, and could instantly feel that the Frankenrazor feels smoother with the Yaqi Mellon open comb top cap. Adding to that, the Schmidt R10 handle weight makes the razor feel more balanced when shaving.... However, that said I will continue to use the razor with both caps & the Schmidt R10 handle in future shaves.

This morning i went for the Vitos Vegetal with it's wonderfully 'Full On' vibrant sweet almond scented shaving soap. If you like almond scented shaving products this soap will surprise you with it's fragrance performance and post shave feel...Superb stuff!

Another close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Brush: Highlander M7 Style
Soap: A&E Club N' Roses
Razor: Tedalus Essence
Blade: Feather Professional
Post: A&E Club N' Roses AS & EDP

Really good shave this morning, just to get my almost straight fix during the weekday. Very smooth finish rounded out by the the lovely Club N' Roses. The EDP it seems I only need to use sparingly, a little goes a long way.

Hope everyone has a cracking day!

Cheers

La Toja- stick grated
Occams Oren- 3dot plate
Kai Captain Titan Mild Pink ( 4 )

A rather Spartan Shave as last time out got a rather severe facial rash, maybe I pushed too hard for BBS or reacted to AS.So today did not push too hard and dispensed with After Shave, just rinsed the face with cold water.

Purchased the Wolfman off the BST from Lorenzo and very pleased I am! Waited three days for shaving with this open combed razor with the mild gap of 0.74mm, what a smashing shave with zero blade chatter and the heavy growth removed effortlessly producing after two passes a very smooth face. The razor is as advertised machined and finished to a superlative standard, wish I ordered one years ago! Thanks to Lorenzo for the great communication.

4th April. 2023. SOTD.
Artisanal April.

Razor - Tatara Muramasa 3
Blade - Feather Hi Stainless
Soap - La Savonnire du moulin
Brush - Zenith unbleached boar, Olivewood handle
Bowl - Capitans Choice - Copper
Post - Refinery ASB
Frag - YSL Kouros edt

A very close yeti comfortable shave, I feel I need to experiment with other blade's because I picked up a couple of weepers, it could however be user error, my back is giving me a lot of pain today and my mind wasn't totally on the shave.
The La Savonnire du moulin was of course wonderful and produced a thick creamy stable lather.
Alum to stop me bleeding before I applied my ASB.
I hope for a better shave and back tomorrow!

Take care , will be back soon.

Paul.

My ‘Easy Job’ DE86 really does make the job easy and a Nacet always works for me regardless of razor. Since it’s ‘Artisan April’, may I be termed an artisan too or do I simply qualify as a ‘wood botherer’? The real artisan here makes this fabulous shaving soap that possesses the holy trinity of tallow, lanolin and glycerin and boy, is it ever good stuff. And just because it’s Tuesday: Tabac.

Matron. MATRON! It is Tuesday my dear, isn’t it? No, not enema day surely? That was yesterday and the day before and, where do you think you’re putting that nasty old rubber tube? No Matron, MATRON, NOOOO!!! Honestly, ruddy woman’s a menace….:ROFLMAO:
