I wasn't sure how this brush would be but it was fantastic. If you like scrub, this is not the brush for you. This may be the softest brush I've ever used. My only gripe is the ergonomics. I think the intent of the ergonomics is great but it doesn't quite work on a slim hand like mine. I could feel the edge of the handle in my palm. It's not a huge turnoff but stops the brush being a perfect item for me. It looks amazing though - have I said that already?
If not quite perfect does this mean the newly established Oumo Emporium subsidiary will be stocking it soon?

Soap Yaqi Lemon Lime Cedarwood
Brush Yaqi 24mm Green Mink
Razor RazoRock GC.84-P
Blade Persona X Series 15th Use
Aftershave Yaqi Lemon Lime Cedarwood Splash
Nicely refreshing & cooling soap. The lather is rich, creamy, and slick too...
The blade continues to amaze. Paired with the razor gives a very smooth and comfortable 3passes without any issues for a dfs finish. The matching aftershave was nice toooo...

Brush: Simpson Colonel
Soap: B&M Sandalwood
Razor: Schick Injector
Blade: Schick B20 (2)
Post: B&M Sandalwood

A rather underwhelming shave that one, I have no idea what specific injector this one is but it's not floating my boat. I've tried a few times to get a decent close shave but failed each time without having to mow the same path a lot more than I usually would. I don't know whether it's something I'm doing or it's dodgy, I suspect the former. I'll keep at it but my first first foray into vintage injectors has not been all that successful so far.

Ah well, keep on keeping on, hope everyone has a grand kick off to the week.

Cheers

Marc

The main question here is when’s it going on the BST ;)

Fantastic post my Hibernian friend! I am humbled by your thanks and glad you enjoyed the Spanish Leather. A timeless, refined and iconic scent which I hope never to be without. Next up, Eucris. Solvency will need to be attained first though…
Your Most Welcome my little Jambo friend
Don’t you worry about Solvency someone is heading to London soon so there could be one coming in your direction ;)

One of the Schick's I have is a little like that, just couldn't get a decent shave, or was left with a face that stung like I'd been slapped senseless!
The Schick M2 that I picked up however is superb.
The Canadian E5 is also fairly good, but as you say, even using the Schick for dummies website, it can be difficult to identify the exact model.

Yesterday was a bit of a rush, got ready and had a really good start to the day using the Signature Valentia, ably whipped off using the Brit Tech Set #27 loaded with a Nacet blade.

Ready for the off, decent run up to Burnley, my son as usual not talkative, so the journey was accompanied by Machine Gun Kelly. Sunday dinner with the parents, then over to the ground and......... wait!

Then mood going up and down as I shouted that the ref was a total wanker.
It was all to no avail and no matter how we cheered, or gave the away team some stick, or as usual sung that Blackburn Rovers were horse-fiddling bastards, Burnley, the team I've supported since "I were a lad" became the last of 3 relegated from the the English Premier League this season.

Today's shave was going to be Tears, but we played shite for much of the season and it is after all, just football (Ah, sacrilege, I hear some say!).
I decided on an American theme, seeing as the American owners need to do some big thinking before they ruin our club - I'm still bewildered how football finance and Premier League financial due diligence works! - borrow £185 million to buy a club for £200 million, then put £165 million debt onto a club that was solvent with £85 million in the bank??

American Blend provided a fairly decent shave in the future hopes that my team don't plummet down the Football League!

Not really the stunning shave I was expecting. The lather was getting a bit sparse by the second pass and the R41 was neither aggressive nor particularly close. I think my Blackbird does a better job. A bit underwhelming, but it makes the R41 an easy cull.
