Decent enough shave tonight
well pretty good really but i was disappointed with the soap,
Not a great scent & not a great strength.
I’m probably actually having a gripe for nothing.
Obviously the performance was decent & that’s all that matters.
The ascent isn’t bad at all and i do get a bit of Aloe Vera but i’m an Aloe Vera fan & i thought the strength would have been stronger.
I Guess that’s a good thing as the star of the show is the razor.
The second Superspeed ever produced & this particular one was New Old Stock.
Also a mention for the brush which was a first for me.
A pif win and a first for me with horse hair.

The Hibernia is just wondering and smells even better lathered! I can see why the one is often seen in SOTD’s.

This is a very nice orangy scented soap and the lather was good enough too...pleasurably whip-up on the face with the excellent brush...
Today's shave with this razor was as good too. The edge refreshed on the pasted balsa & buffalo strop...felt smooth and sharp...perhaps too sharp. 3passes for a dfs result with 2-3 micro red spots...The matching aftershaves were just terrific!

Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Simple Pure Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Rainbow Brown Synthetic. (Faux Horse)
Face Lather.
Lather: Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap.
Blade: Derby Premium. (D2)
Razor:Edwin Jagger DE 89. (Kelvin)

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Baylis & Harding Amber & Sandalwood ASB./ Milton Lloyd London 2000 EdT.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

The Derby Premium/EJ DE 89 duo paired together wonderfully feeling smooth & efficient.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups comfortable shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd Essentials No9 EdP to the chest & pulse points.

My face is feeling cool, smooth & smelling divine. ;)
