Rather than a pamper, today's birthday shave was a simple yet effective affair. The D plate has noticeably more blade feel than the C plate, perhaps a little too much with a Feather blade. No damage and a close shave, but, I think I’ll save the D plate for duller blades and the C plate for my preferred Feathers.

I have an "appointment" this afternoon so I've actually had 3 shaves today

First, Wahl classic series with #1 comb. Head and eyebrows
Second, comb #4 and R6S #2 w/ Astra sp #4 and Cube. No nicks or cuts (thank goodness)
Third, see above.

Cheapo brush will end up in the bin. The fresh Astra left my skin feeling a little scraped but not sore. I had one nick that needed the styptic pencil.
Fewer pick ups were needed today but I'm still struggling on one side of my neck, which so far has needed almost a 4th pass
Overall a nice shave :)
