Soap from Alepo - Morris & Forndran 25X53 - Gillette Rocket HD 500 - Gillette Platinum #3 - Pre JASÖN - Shaving cream Nancy Boy blossomwood - Alum block - Thayers Original Astringent - ASB Korres - ASL Myrsol Agua Balsámica.

After the usual hot shower prep:

MÜHLE Silvertip Fibre
'Webly'/Permasharp super (NOS)
Nanny's vanilla cream & goat's milk olive oil shave soap
Weleda after shave balm
Marmite sandwich

Finally got around to using the Stahly head on a weber classic handle. It's an interesting design, I especially like the safety bar which unlike most other razors, is actually a bar. It's a smooth, comfortable shaver but still effective enough. I think you'd really have to try hard to get a nick or a cut with this head.

If anyone has an urge to try it, get your name added to the pass around list. It's worth giving this one a go.

Hot shower
Hot flannel
Nannys Warm Spice hard soap scuttle lathered
Simpson Commodore X3 best badger brush
Gillette NEW short comb
Gillette 7 o'clock Indian Black (1)
Cold rinse
Thayers Lavender witch hazel
Old Spice sensitive aftershave

Good shave all well no drama. I normally change razor when I change blade (after 3 shaves) today I carried on with the same razor but with a 7 o'clock black to compare with the 7 o'clock green from yesterday. The Old Spice I found in my store of shaving stuff it must be 20 yrs old :icon_eek: very nice I must say

Prep: Village Barber oil
Brush: Simpsons Chubby 2 - 2 Band
Soap: Stirling Orange Chill
Razor: Weber DLC / UFO U2
Post: Stirling Lemon and Withchazel

First outing for the Stirling splash, now I love menthol and this didn't disappoint. My face literally ached it was so cold! My hands 20 minutes later can still feel it! Lovely aftercare very impressed.

Prep: Hot wash (Bulldog original face wash)

Soap: Mama Bears Aqua di Gio
Razor: L1 Schik
Blade: Injector
Post: Warm rinse/Alum/Cold splash

First time using a Schik and it was very good, not spectacular, but a nice no nonsence everyday shave with good results.

Second go with the R41 …

Hot towels
Olive Oil/Essential Oil PSO
Palmolive Shaving Cream
Pure Badger Brush
Muhle R41
Astra Super Platinum [1]
Hot Rinse
Cold Rinse
Alum Wash
Witch Hazel/Essential Oil Tonic
Jovan Musk Aftershave Lotion

Two pass - WTG & ATG

To be absolutely frank, I found this a bit tough. My first run with the R41 was with a Feather and I absolutely loved it! I think I have a second perfect combination there - my first being the Merkur 23C with a SuperMax Blue Diamond.

Still, two passes … can't complain at that. The R41 mowed through three days of growth, not silently nor effortlessly this time, but did. No issues.

Turkish no. 6
Progress on 1.5
Permsharp stainless

Still a bit sore from pushing an old Contour cartridge too far early this morning so now was average
