A couple of small weepers but a very close shave.

This razor is just the right side of too aggressive. It's no R41, but you have to watch yourself. Can't argue with the closeness though, and it does feel special shaving with something that's almost 100 years old.

The SOC didn't particularly behave itself today - lather hogging - but MdC's fairly impervious to mediocre technique.

I found out today that a workmate is a DE shaver. I'm not sure of his razor and brush set-up, but he says he uses the dreaded Wilkie blue bowl and supermarket-branded Dorco blades and Lasers. I'm throwing a stick of Palmolive and 10 assorted blades to trial his way tomorrow!

Result: First time out with an adjustable and I am impressed. A nice weight to the razor and felt really comfortable in my hand. Almost certainly the closest shave I've managed to date.
