Brush: Badger
Soap: Godrej blue
Alum
AS: Clubman AS

Mr Natty's shave oil
BRW Bull Mastiff
Superthin
Mennen Skin Bracer

That's all three of my new Mennen splashes used now. Green Tonic is by far my favourite, reminds me a bit of Pour Monsieur, only a bit mind.

This morning:

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap, cold water
Razor: Joseph Rodgers "The Favorite", restored by Jamie
Brush: Simpson Commodore X3 in Best
Soap: Prof Blighty's Rosewood
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Rosewood
Scent: Trumper's Sandalwood

Another very comfortable shave. I can see myself moving to a pattern of using trad straights at the weekends, for a change and to rest my skin, and the feather for working days for the extra closeness. Of course, I may be able to learn to get closer with time.

I think the cold water shaves are here at least until late autumn... but we'll see.

Still thinking of the Queen. Wilkinson Sword Sticky, Kent vintage brush, NOS Wilkinson sword blade, GFT soap, and Finished with T and H pre shave oil. It was suggested as a better aftershave. They hit the nail on the head! It has a nice scent and rubs in with no oily feel.

This blade actually felt better on the second shave.

Much smoother and contributed to a BBS ready for my one day at work this week (if only I could afford to do this every week).

Thursday:

Zuri 1950s soap
Semogue SOC Boar brush
Muhle R89/Weber Bulldog
Astra SP (3)
T&H Trafalgar AS

First use of the SOC brush apart from one or two test lathers yesterday. It clearly still has a lot of breaking in to do and feels totally different to my badger brushes. Can't wait to see what it's like once it's broken in, however long that takes.
