Jamie.

Because i have been waiting on this razor for a few days, i decided not to shave so i had a good amount of beard to test this NOS Japanese razor out, well she arrived yesterday, i honed and stropped the razor yesterday, well she certainly delivered today a two pass super smooth shave as i expected to be honest, my expectations of anything Japanese that have a sharp edge as always been high and this one proved no exception, another fine blade from Japan.

Bulldog moisturiser
TOBS Lavender cream
Rocket HD with Rapira Stainless (1st shave)
Proraso pre- and post-shave cream

Rough but close. Not a good razor and blade pairing.

Nuage shaving oil
EJDE89L with 7 O'C Yellow (2)
EJ pure badger
TOBS avocado cream
RSC balm

Last of this pot of cream. That's 2 creams finished off in the past couple of weeks. Ingram and this. Strangely satisfying. Still a couple to use before I need buy more.

Taylor's sandlewood shaving Cream

BSS WTG
Joey Tempest, a place to call home playing in the background (he's swedish) Relaxing shave. I think I'll have a coffee
Have a good thursday:icon_smile:

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage butterscotch Made Rite badger
1958 Executive/Feather
Surrey SS (pre VDH reformulation)
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
Laroche 'Drakkar Noir' (old juice)

BBS results,

Martin

Merkur 1904
Big Ben (3 and out)
Kent BK2
Palmolive cream
T&H Spanish Leather A/S
Anthony Logistics moisturiser

Still very pleased at having rediscovered the 1904. Generally just use the Palmolive when travelling, but it's just as effective here at home. Have spent much of the morning surreptitiously stroking my face.

Proraso pre/post
Kent BK8
TOBS Eton College
Merkur 37c Slant (Gillette Black 2)

Another face lather, wetter than usual which helped combat the dry feeling I get with my TOBS creams. BBS smooth really enjoying the slant.

Cold water prep
Weber ARC razor with Feather (1)
M&F blonde badger
Speick shave cream
Proraso pre/post
La Toja AS
C&E sandalwood ASB

Really nice and smooth, Weber + Feather really go together well. Still getting used to London water - takes me twice as long to build a lather :(
