Another outing for Trumpers genuine buffalo horn brush. Superb hair, light painting on of the Arlington lather. Mmmm.

Dior 'Eau Sauvage' EdT (vintage juice)

Lost track of how many shaves with this blade...5-6 maybe? Still going strong.

Wednesday morning... Received a new to me Joh Engstrom -Sweden straight edge yesterday. Beautiful Razor! Cleaned it up and honed it last nite. Took it out this AM. Yes - Doubted my hone so... I took out the Keen Kutter barber hone. Yes- right into my thumb! Yes! it was sharp enough!
Razor: Joh Engstrom Straight
Preshave: Noxzema plus
Soap: Lucky Tiger shave cream
Brush: Boar
Alum: fingers and face
AS: Lucky Tiger
Aside from the thumb--- nice shave.

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap
Razor: Feather Artist Club RG (wood), Pro blade (9)
Brush: Neep #1156 cocobolo chubby 24mm extra silvertip
Soap: Martin de Candre
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Red Ginger
Scent: Penhaligon's Endymion
Result: excellent

Man, I know it's almost a cliche to say so, but this soap really is superb. I'll certainly be looking to buy when this sample nugget runs out.

Exactly my thoughts when I recently rediscovered my sample pot of MdC (thanks Rod). It's tremendous.
