Very nice shave courtesy of the razor Mervin used to distract my gorilla.

It's definitely easier to use than a 15, but doesn't give a less close shave.

just got a gillette new yesterday in the post from america for $11, with the intention of cleaning it up and getting it replated if i like it. used it tonight and its a really nice, smooth shave. i like it a lot.
 
This evening:

Prep: Hot shower
Razor: Feather Artist Club RG (wood), Pro blade (4)
Soap: Prof Blighty's peppermint
Brush: Vie-Long Horse 13070
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Yellow Ginger
Result: pretty decent

A spot of hot water on the soap before heading upstairs to shower rewarded me with a beautiful pepperminty bathroom on my return. Brush performed really quite well today. I decapitated a little spot on the left cheek today - often a reward for two days unshaven, one reason I rarely do it.

This brush seems to want to fold many of its inner hairs over and curl them up in its heart after use - I've combed it out twice now and it has improved accordingly. Weird.
 
Wednesday morning. Took out the Big Boy this morning for a run... The Merkur Vision.
Razor: Merkur Vision
Blade: Astra Platinium
Soap: Godrej (light blue)
Aftershave: Clubman Bay Rum
Balm: Neiva Protective Lotion

Nice shave. The Godrej blue does work better with a DE than an open razor.

nice shaving with Bakelite and shark blade and MDC just only 5 second soak the brush get enough lather for three passes and touch a really comfortable especially in neck area

i have Martin de candre in glass jar looking to buy in wooden bowl :-/ , how is it the scent with you if leave it without cover and how long with you this soap until this moment

The scent lasts very well, it maybe mellows slightly but doesnt fade much. I had the wooden bowl that I used 4-5 times per week and it lasted me almost a year. I rinsed it under a tap after use and left it uncovered.
