I am struggling to get very close shaves at the moment. I get pretty good shaves very easily but neck and right jawline refuses to go quietly and more passes than is sensible doesn't get satisfactory results. Rather than press on with days of soreness I'll accept that comfort is more important!
I'm pleased with the rose cream. The smell is stronger than I imagined once lathered and cushioning seems very good. Much better than the cushioning from their Violet soap

Pre Alep soap + Welleda shaving cream + Simpson Duke3 Best + Merkur 37c Slant with Polsilver #4 + Thayers Lavender "alumbrado" + Ach Brito Lavanda cologne with Welleda balm

This Welleda cream is excellent although I prefer the scent of Art of Shaving Lavender (a bit more elegant).

The balm is really delightful as well, but too greasy for me... so I use it in a little spray which put some "air" and make it more liquid... much better to apply in my skin!
