A first class shave BBS, i've never had a poor shave from this blade and razor combo, weather quite mild this morning, had the scan test results from my back problem over Christmas, where I was admitted twice in one week, I have two prolapsed discs, L4 and L5, that's over thirty years doing silly things as a Carpenter, strict orders from the consultant no more lifting heavy objects.

I retired the Kai blade after ten days of extremely close and comfortable shaves. Hard to tell the difference between the Kai and Feather.

Jerry, as a matter of curiosity what would be the longevity of the Feather compared with the Kai blade?

My first use of the Razorock cream, and I am impressed. It is very similar to Acqua di Parma cream.

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap
Razor: Feather Artist Club RG (wood), Pro blade (9)
Soap: Pre de Provence
Brush: Neep #1033 soapstone 24mm high mountain badger
Balm: Trumper's Skin Food, West Indian Limes
Scent: none - forgot!
Result: excellent: close, comfortable and unmarked.

Another ten-minute special due to difficulty leaving bed; two and a half swift and effective passes for a very good result indeed.
