Seehund, maca root, NF2213, Alum, Aquatonic AS, all good smooth as anything.

Prep: Long Hot shower
Razor: slim adjustable with 7 o clock yellow -3
Brush: Kent BK8 with trumpers sandalwood soap
Post Shave: Alum RSC shaving balm blue stratos A/S

Very smooth shave 3 passes getting constant close shaves with the slim and no irritation so far

Friday

Hot bath
Proraso pre/post
Real Shacing Co. cream
Gillette Aristocrat Jr.
Wikinson Sword (4)
Alum & Witch Hazel
Pinaud Clubman

3 passes and a bit of touch up, BBS results. My technique must have improved greatly over the last few months as I used to get a bit of burn when I went for BBS, not any more. Smooth and irritation free.

Muhle 41
Gillette Bleue Extra (2)
Simpson Emperor 2
MWF (face lathered)
Witch hazel
Prof Blighty Yellow Unction

Put the razor against my face with great trepidation following all the negative reviews!

Not as bad I feared though. Very aggressive but, used carefully, gives a very close shave.

A few weepers closed with alum, no irritation and BBS. Result!

This morning:

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap
Razor: Feather Artist Club RG (wood), Pro blade (10)
Soap: Cella
Brush: Neep #1033 soapstone 24mm high mountain badger
Balm: Nivea sensitive
Scent: Trumper's GFT
Result: slightly ragged

Rushed morning again - I think I'll take next week off - and half-asleep decided to try a crossed-hands tidy up. Bad plan.

Thursday Evening

Vintage Gillette Razor
Supermax platinum Blade
Taylors Rose cream
Prof Blighty's Rosewood A/S

Very nice shave, only did 1 pass over as this was a 2nd shave for the day. Lovely finish. Surprised how well this little razor performs.

Gillette Super Adjustable on 6, 4, 2 with Astra Superior Platinum
vintage Palmolive shaving stick (probably 1950s/60s)
Professor Blighty's Universal Balsalm - Lime

Great lather, great cushioning, great shave.

About an hour ago:

Prep: Just a face wash
Razor: EJ ED89L with boots own brand blade
Cream: Palmolive shave cream
Brush: Some cheap thing with no name on it
Balm: Gillette sensitive
Scent: None (The Gillette has plenty o scent)
Result: Lovely and close, best shave to date for me anyway.

Friday 17th February

Hot shower and facial scrub
Proraso Preshave cream
Feather Artist Club SS
Sabini Faux Horn & Pewter Silvertip
Body Shop Original Shaving Cream
Alum Block followed by 444ASB
Pashana Original Lotion on Hair and face.

A 2 pass DFS+. Body shop cream is probably one of my favourites and I teamed it with a brush which I bought from Lee Sabini on ebay many years ago. Probably a 26mm knot, dense and very luxurious.

T&H 1805 Cream
Kent BK4
Floid Blue A/S
T&H Trafalgar Cologne

Nice shave, brought out the 1805 after posting about it on another forum and reminded what a very under rated cream this is. It's one of those creams that doesn't have an overpowering or particularly memorable scent, but is just such a nice, clean, fresh and masculine scent that it's main asset is perhaps it's simplicity.

Same combo of razor, blade, cream and brush. Used GFT Lime Skin Food and Boss Bottled EDT instead today.
