Razor: Feather Artist Club RG (wood), Pro blade (2)
Soap: D R Harris almond
Brush: Simpson Tulip T2 in two-band Super
Balm: Trumper's Skin Food, West Indian Limes
Scent: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet
Result: excellent :)

Very pleased with this shave - quick, clean, comfortable. Did, however, manage to slightly cut the back of my hand while wiping lather off the blade, because I'm a dick.
 
Tuesday 13th March

Just a maintenance shave this evening. I am on nights tomorrow.....so will go for a special before I go to work. Two passes with no touch up to give a DFS.

Merkur 933 travel razor, with the included Merkur blade (1)

two pass shave, being super careful as I have never used a Merkur razor or blade before. Lots of audio feedback on the shave - which I like to have. Is this head common to other Merkur razors? I really enjoyed this shave, even the tiny size of the razor wasn't an issue (then again, I do have rather small hands)

Not bbs, wasn't trying for it either, this was a 2-pass learning shave.

First use of this soap and razor. Both very good.
I started off with a fresh astra superior platinum but this felt quite rough and wasn't getting close enough on the second pass. Stuck in a twice used Swede and it was smooth, dealt with the rest of the stubble and the problem areas and through the razor provided more feedback than the astra.
The soap produced a fantastic lather without me warming its dish or the brush.
Very nice shave.

Nice and smooth. Speick cream is amazing, just like the rest of their products.

a first class shave love the razor /blade compo worked great the soap and colonge were new to me never used this artisan product before and i must say my opinion only best home made shaving products i have ever tryed soap was super tons of soft creamy larther great scent/also the colonge non sting smooth and long lasting.i am truly hooked on this gentlmans product and i must get my little hands on more goodys from prof/blighty.
