Cracking shave with the New (again). Couple of tiny weepers under the chin that the alum sorted.

Really loaded up with the stick tonight. All over the face, attacked it with the brush too, then kept dunking the brush in hot water to give a really nice lather.

Crappo balm, but I'm going to use it rather than bin it. Trumpers all the way after it's gone.

For the first time tried my Pal de razor which arrived a few weeks ago. Stuck a Shark stainless in it. The head hardly bends the blade at all and this combined with a short aluminium handle resulted in a fairly uncomfortable shave.
The edwin jagger 89 handle fits this so I'll see what it's like with the same blade tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I was pressing down a little due to the weight
