It's no surprise why this razor is recommended to someone starting their DE journey. Such a pleasure to use and such a great result. Even if you are an experienced DE shaver I urge you to (re)visit the Muhle R89. It will definitely raise questions as why spending more on a razor

View attachment 103283Well last Shave in the Uk for a month or so
so decided to go for a Synthetic brush die to it drying quicker.
i think iv only used this brush once before when i first got it & to be honest like most PAA brushes it lacks backbone and this one is particularly floppy.
Anyway a weird shave was had.
I started with the Hybrid,
not for the purists i know but i normally get a decent shave but not this time.
The blade was a second use which i found.
i reckon it must be more than 8 months since i last used it so unsure if this was the problem.
From Stroke 1 i felt it tuggy & blunt.
After doing nearly half my face i had to stop and quickly got the R41 which ended up being a brilliant shave.
3 passes of Luxurious lather set me up for suitcase packing duties lol.
Next Shave will be Sunday in Brazil,
Two days traveling can be a nightmare so a couple of martinis might help lol.
Onward & Upwards.
Stay Safe Boys n Girls
Thanks mateGood luck with your flight and the trip to Brazil.
