Tell us more ...Electrif's Bay Rum v2
It is. If wholesaling to EC you need a Responsible Person based in the EC. As Belfast is technically in EC for trading purposes, it is a way of circumventing the “Red Tape” and the costs of having a RP in EC.Maybe due to the fact that N Ireland is still part of the European single market
Well Paul, it's completely your fault as I was inspired by your homemade Bay Rum threads to make my first brew back in 2017, using Rum and alcohol infused with a mixture of Cloves, Ginger, Black peppercorns, Cardamom, Lime & Lemon zest. Adding Bay Rum Essential Oil (Pimenta Racemosa), Glycerine and Witch Hazel.Tell us more ...
How was the brush?Friday 4th March 2022Time for a cooling shave. My wife had woke up early this morning, turned on the heating and went back to bed. By the time I woke up, the house was hot as hades. By the time I had my steaming hot shower I was entirely fed up with heat and decided it was time for a chill.

Enter Stirling Eskimo Tuxedo. I’ve had this stuff for years but haven’t reached for it in a while. It’s the glacial (read Menthol heavy) version of their “Sharp Dressed Man” which is modelled after Green Irish Tweed by Creed. For the other 90s kids among us, you’ll be thinking of that other (much more accessible / ubiquitous) cologne that we wore far too much of - Davidoff Cool Water.
Stirling soaps never provide me anything short of excellent lather, glide and protection. If I weren’t so into the notion of matching fragrances to my mood, I could easily buy a box of unscented Stirling and shave until my twilight years.
The face chill effect from this stuff is extreme. I don’t use it regularly because the cooling can encourage you to be a little more fast and loose with your technique. You just don’t feel any irritation at all past the menthol, no matter what you do.
The scent is wonderful. Light, aquatic, slightly citrussy. It isn’t an exact match for Davidoff Cool Water - in fact I think Stirling did a better job of mimicking Green Irish Tweed than Davidoff did (if that were ever Davidoff’s intention)
Nonetheless, a splash of Snakebite upped the freeze factor, and the Davidoff balm and EDT augmented the fragrance nicely. Suffice it to say, I no longer feel overly hot and muggy.

I've still got a small amount of that version left in a hip flask.
For v2 in the photo, I modified the formula, adding Star Anise and Cinnamon back in 2019.
