Nice shave this morning, little more chilled and rewarded with a good finish. Do like this old spice, very similar to B&M Reserve Spice but with something a little different, can't quite put my finger on it. Either which way its such a shame that they stopped making this stuff.

Hope everyone has a grand day!

Cheers

Omega 20102 Boar - Cella Original - Ever Ready HFT/Personna GEM - Lustray Spice

Judgement/Retirement day approaches. Just 2 more late start/finish shifts left until my career finishes.
I haven't used this razor for some time but it delivers a no nonsense result every time and that is required at the moment as my mostly female colleagues drop off the radar...never to be worked with again!

Massimo Dutti A/S Lotion

Not sure why I got two of these Razors, was hoping that Yaqi were going to stick to their proposed design changes. Should really have cancelled my pre order especially as I think the blade sits easier in the V1 than the V2.
A pleasant Shave today with a good close finish but not of the highest order.

Razor: Rockwell 6s #3
Blade: Gillette Nacet, 4th use
Brush: Simpsons Trafalgar
Bowl: Simpsons Travel Bowl
Preshave: Soap Bloom Water With A Hot Flannel
Soap: Southern Witchcrafts Fougere Nemeta Croap
Aftershave: Southern Witchcrafts Fougere Nemeta Aftershave
Additional Care: Shave Tunes Courtesy Of Something Dark And Gothic
Additional Care: Wife Sniff Test = Kiss Me Right Now

First of my birthday soap shaves. Although it's not until September the Domestic Sergeant Major decided I had been good enough to have them all early. As expected Southern Witchcrafts is still my favourite soap and this new to me flavour doesn't disappoint. The Nacet blade is still as smooth as last time, I still have other types from the blade sampler pack but it will take something very special for the Nacet to not be my next major blade purchase.

Feeling a little thick-headed this morning after seeing George Thorogood in concert last night.
The shave perked me up a bit.

The Treet blade didn’t work so well with the Rockwell razor this morning. It needed a third pass to get the job done. The lather from the new tub of Trumper’s cream was wonderful and plentiful, and the Skin Food felt good post shave. A fine shave… eventually.

Simpson Commodore best badger x3.
Great lather, and a smooth shave. One or two red spots cos the Hotmetalette phoned me mid shave. Talking and shaving aren't really compatible!

This brush has started to shed. Simpson don't sell replacement knots. Can I get another badger knot (24/46) to put in? How hard might it be to do? If possible I want to save the brush as I liked it until it started shedding. I have started another thread for this in the brush section.

This Razor is fast becoming one of my top 3 modern razors.
It paired well with the Muster Blade and a blade i rate very highly.
The soap for me was a first & i have to say iv had better for sure,
It’s not a bad soap by any means but it’s just one of them hit or miss, one of these soaps that if you never seen it again it wouldn’t bother you.
Having said that it was an enjoyable shave But i guess i’m being picky.
