A superb, comfortable and efficient two pass shave this morning. The Castle Forbes lavender has a strong and pleasant aroma, and produces a rich and plentiful lather. Top shaving cream, certainly.

A lovely shave today using a soap that I've wanted to try for ages but never have until now, I have to thank @Pontormo for kindly gifting me one of his pucks of C&S 88 to try and I'm so pleased he did because even on first use I can say I love this soap.
The scent is intoxicating, a dark woody rose and the performance of the soap being great is no supprise because Valobra used to make the soap for Czech & Speake.
The Karve with the "C" plate and fitted with a Souplex blade is fantastic, what a razor and blade combo!
A close and comfortable shave was had and it was most enjoyable.
To complete this shave I used a lovely Rose Oud EDP , just the ticket!

Nice lather with the cream. Mild scent and ok performance. Brush was very pleasant to use.
Continuing blade test with another 'challenging' vintage razor. Yesterday shave was extremely close and only realized this morning my usual stubble is barely felt. Anyway...proceeded as usual. Another good combo. Sharpish, comfortable and very smooth for WTG & XTG but kinda jumpy during ATG. Still...no issues. Quite close result but can't beat yesterday's RFB. Rating 9/10

Prepare with Ach Brito Glyce soap
Lather up with Wickham's 1912 & AP Shave Co 'Winter' w/Silksmoke 26mm synthetic knot
Shave with Merkur 37C & Treet DuraSharp (Carbon)
Single pass ought to do it!
Witch Hazel afterwards ... I'm not much into aftershaves now

I have a few Wickham's 1912 flavours in: South Sea Spray tonight, probably English Rose, Frankincense, Parma Violet, Club Cola & Citrus Musk kind of order. I'll be onto my next blade by the back end of that list and probably a different razor.​

1st shave with a Bolzano blade, i find it very smooth in the Blackbird.
The Stirling Spice soap and Classic Old Spice splash were made for each other, literally.
BBS from 3 passes and feeling real good after a nice post shave routine.
