Brush: DG B15
Soap: Cerberus Fougere
Razor: Friodur 72-V
Post: Cerberus Fougere AS & EDP

The theme is fougere today, had a few to choose from but decided on cerberus. Has something slightly different to my others, though if I had the EDP I would have gone for the SW Fougere Nemeta, love that stuff as does the Mrs.

Today's challenge was to come up with a haiku, a poet I am not!

Cracking shave this morning, wonderfully smooth finish and smelling good.

Hope everyone has a grand day.

Cheers

Marc

Pre - Droyt's Classic Glycerose Soap
Brush - Yaqi Sagrada Familia 24mm Synth
Soap - Monsavon Bol à Raser
Razor - Mühle R41GS
Blade - Bic Astor (Ελ.)
Post - Cold water Rinse
Balm - Barts Balm Ben Nevis - Amber & Moroccan Jasmine
A/S - Avon Shaving Brush Brut

The Monsavon is another easy to lather soap whipped up today with the 24mm Yaqi, a great little brush. The scent i find is a little synthetic, however, it does a fantastic job for the price.
2 passes was all that was required with the Stainless R41 and i did actually quite enjoy the shave, Hmmm what to do, what to do?
A nice post shave routine finishing with a splash of Brut from the repurposed Avon brush bottle #2 leaving me BBS and comfortable.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.

The Taylor’s cream is quite old and it has lost some of its scent but it still lathers like a champion. The Plisson was the first synthetic that I bought that performed better, in my opinion, than the Mühle Silvertip Fibre knot of the time, it was less prickly. The Silvertip Fibre brushes have been improved since then, in fairness. The Tatara razor is just the business giving a very close yet very comfortable shave no matter what the blade. An excellent piece of kit. In all a very good, close shave and I’m very happy with that.

A lovely shave. Using cold water and a lightly mentholated soap made it very refreshing for a day that should hit the mid 90s here.

My Shave today consisted of...
Prep Proraso preshave balm
Brush Highlander black badger brush.
Soap Signature Hybrid Lindum.
Razor J A Henckels 6/8 straight.
Bowl Obsidian Copper.
Aftershave Signature Lindinis.
Felt like a straight razor shave today, nice and slow and just giving me some much needed me time.
Excellent shave and taking the wife out to Dinner later to her favourite Italian restaurant.
She is do lucky to have such a good looking, kind, clean, shaven hunk of handsome muscle.
Enjoy your Friday night everyone.

Razor = 1955 Gillette Blue Tip Superspeed
Blade = Gillette Spoiler ( USA ) ( 3 )
Brush = C&H Parker 26mm V15
Soap = B&M Le Grand Chypre
with matching splash & balm.

IMG_1723.jpegAnother brilliant shave with another new soap.
This was another gift from the wife & to be honest i was a bit sceptical but it was first class,
The scent reminds me of something else i have but can’t quite put my finger on it
saying that i’m thinking Electric Mayhem by B&M
i’m sure it’s similar.
The Razor is a hit & miss for me
it’s probably my least favourite vintage although it’s a NOS so i doubt i’ll ever get rid of it.
Saying that i am getting fed up hoarding.
iv been suffering a bit with jet lag this week,
iv had it bad, worse than iv ever had it,
iv been home 4 days and this is the first day iv managed to stay awake,
Onwards & Upwards
Enjoy Your Weekend

A really good shave tonight. Used lots of Soap with lots left over. The Super Nacet can get me really close even against the grain in problem areas if I am patient and do four passes plus touch-ups. Yes that is a lot but my sensitive skin could take it with this set up.
Nivea balm which is good but my least favourite component tonight. Hate the crap lid which just rests on top.

Rating: 5 / 5
