Ahh, the 34c was my first DE and it's like going back to an old friend. I didn't even have to think and it was a smooth effortless shave, I can't believe this used to be scary and bite me back. You do pay for its mild manors with a shave that isn't that close, but I wasn't chasing BBS anyway.

Decent enough shave this morning, a little rough with the feather ATG on the neck but no great drama, the Thayers calmed that one down for me. The feather really is temperamental for me depending on which razor I chuck it in. The Era or WR3 it's great, the Tradere or the likes of the blackbird not so much (I won't even mention the dart).

Body shop Maca Root today. I used to love the first incarnation of this, unfortunately either my standards have risen or this newer version had gone backwards. On a par with most tube creams now.

The L1 is a mild but efficient shaver. 3 passes for a really good result

....and it's off to my local Pharmacy for my Flu jab which should complete my cover for the winter months.

The third shave with the Feather blade in the Feather razor was a cracker. Close and comfortable, two passes left a very smooth finish. For a very mild razor the Feather is surprisingly efficient. Magnum is my favourite fragrance of Wickham soap, no doubt.

I decided to put the Wizamet into the Myatt "Universal" for todays shave instead of a Vintage Perma-sharp, this is the chromed brass version that does not take a new blade unless you use a "new" top cap (the blade posts are far too wide for a new blade), unlike the later Aluminium version which is supposed to be able to take a new blade? not sure though. I have a Yaqi top cap on today.
The Little Vulfix is a great face scrubber and whipped up the OSP soap easily, i had enough for the shave held in the brush just dipping the tips and building as i went.
I completed 2 passes WTG & ATG with a little touch up on the whirlpools for an easy BBS finish. The blade today felt much better, i really don't know what has gone on here?
A really nice post shave routine finishing with the Vintage Avon "Spicy" which is Just that - spicy, it is a nice match for the Old Gold soap.
