Well what a shave absolutely top drawer
I thought the soap was first class.
PAA’s homage to Skin Bracer & i reckon they have the scent spot on.
All of the Phoenix soaps i have i love, but the CK6 formula is brilliant & like all good soaps a little goes a long way.
The razor i hadn’t used in a good few months & paired with a blade from the same era was a great combination although the star of the show was the brush.
The first use of this Brand new just out F15
or whatever that means lol
never mind i never quite understand it but it’s super & soft for a first time use & quite similar to the High Mountain Badger.

A new Artisan soap from Canada, and an absolute cracker. Lovely fresh northern hemisphere forest scent, and simply outstanding performance and post-shave.
The P74 is still as sharp as ever on its 10th outing (no surprises there).
The Crowne Co aftershave tonic is impressive - alcohol, witch hazel, glycerin and neem oil for the mug, and a unique yet old school scent. Very nicely done.

Excellent soap qualities. A very nice scent and rich creamy slick lather...super!
The shave with 1 of my most aggressive & rarely used razors turns out to be quite tamed and enjoyable all due to the great blade plus a shim. 3 fast, easy, smooth, and relatively comfortable passes for a dfs+ finish without any issues. The matching aftershave was just great!

The shave with 1 of my most aggressive & rarely used razors turns out to be quite tamed and enjoyable all due to the great blade plus a shim. 3 fast, easy, smooth, and relatively comfortable passes for a dfs+ finish without any issues. The matching aftershave was just great!

I settled on 3 with the Parker Adjustable Injector. It seems to be the best in balancing a smooth shave and efficiency. Lower settings require too much pressure or multiple passes to remove stubble and higher settings seem harsh - not aggressive as such but just uncomfortable.
A lovely citrusy scent from the Goodfella's smile. They now have the matching aftershave in a non alcoholic version which is on its way from Agentshave alongside some other scents for my remaining Goodfella's soaps in need of set completion.
