Such a lovely cold water shave today. The Fatboy/GSB was a smooth and comfortable experience, and the final result was excellent.

Same set up as yesterday besides the Nacet blade rather than the GSB.

Signature Britannia soap and splash. Proraso (omega) boar brush.

Night and day! The Nacet was everything the GSB wasn't. Smooth, efficient and pretty much done in 2 passes, just a couple of touch ups to finish and consign GSB s to the bin. I may ask my father in law if he wants them. TBF he will use any old blade, so I know where they'll go!

Really enjoying the Culmak soap now ... it is a very hard soap and doesn't feel to give up the goods easily, so a scrubbier brush seems to get the best from it. I do a single pass shave with a comfort lather aftershaves and my loading is perfectly sufficient for those two so guess a triple lather for a three pass would forthcoming.

Another fantastic shave from the Prowe II, smooth, efficient while able to hold itself back from being overly aggressive despite being and OC head. It really is a lovely razor, the lighter head than the Cat Claw making it slightly more manoeuvrable. I got interested in the Stando razors after looking for an alternative handle for my Excalibur, the handle i got is excellent but the razors themselves are in another league, I’m not sure why they don’t get more love on SOTD or in peoples den. Many thanks for the loans @slapo, I’ll be cleaning them down tonight for a return as I wouldn’t want to deprive you of them for any longer!
