Castle Forbes Lavender cream
Homemade witch-hazel with glycerin, lavender, tea tree and peppermint essential oils
L'Occitane balm

Only got a few more shaves left of the Castle Forbes, excellent cream and a little goes a long way. The Lavender smells very natural to me and coupled with the L’Occitane balm it makes for a very relaxing shave before bed . The only one I’ve yet to try is 1445 so might have to gI’ve that a go once it’s finished. Any opinions on it?

I only have the Lime but for me it’s superb & difficult to beat although a tad expensive especially the balms but i like it nonetheless & probably won’t ever be without it

A lovely scent from this soap! The lather was acceptable...
The razor and blade pairing was perfect! Very smooth and comfortable in 3passes for a bbs finish without any issues.

Up very early this morning, a full 3 pass shave for a very close, comfortable, BBS shave.
Off to the airport now, looking forward to seeing my mate after such a long time.

I totally agree. They come in 200g tubs and I find I need about half the amount of cream compared to others to create a lather as it’s very concentrated so it probably works out similar to the 3T’s in terms of value.

First run out with the Lickimat wobble bowl today and it's a keeper, making a lather it's like cheating. It's an Italian theme today. Although I have used it before for the first time using Proraso Red my neck is a bit red and sore. Didn't happen last time.

Wonderfully smooth shave this morning with the vector and went whole hog with the full measure of man. Definite tobacco, not sweet though nor does it seem like the empty ashtray type attempts I've smelt in the past. Think I get a little vanilla in there as well but not sure. Much better as a rounded set than soap in isolation, probably better for colder days perhaps.
