This little razor works really well for me, yes it is a mild-ish razor, however, get your angle right and away you go for a very comfortable shave, 2 passes and a touch up for a very smooth finish.
I am really enjoying my Signature soaps this month.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.

Greetings,

Early morning shave.

Everything in my shave this morning paired together wonderfully.

SE razors truly are fantastic shaving tools...... I have mentioned before in my posts if i had known how wonderful smooth, & efficient SE razors where especially Injector razors when i first ventured into the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving i probably wouldn't have bought a DE razor as they provide and give everything i require for a close comfortable shave.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick- ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Freshwood ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

12 pints of lager, a vindaloo and an oddly named tanker give rise to this theme being, 'Johnny Fart Pants and other adventurous trouser burps'

Tikka Masala - Occams Enoch
Jalfrezi - Kai Titan mild
Dhansk - Steven Jagger 30mm Cashmere
Rajmal-Chamal - MDC Rose
Curry paste - L'Occitane Cade balm

'I tell you Mildred. It isn't just urine our Albert smells of. Phewww'

A very welcome shave after 3 days growth due to towing tankers offshore and being devoid of mirrors for strange reasons. And I ain't that hard that I can shave without.

I'd end up looking like a bad offering for the 'Readers wives' section in the old Escort jazz mag. Not as though I'd have any idea what that was of course. Even if we did make quite a killing with an old Kodak Instamatic and a Bic disposable.

The shave

The MDC proved exactly why I gave it praise recently and an absolute monster lather using the big Cashmere. An amazing soap in every sense with the added 'it will go on forever' value.

I am not going to say too much about the Enoch as I think recent words have said it all. All I will say is that it scythed its way through 3 days of unwelcome facial hair with consummate ease to heavenly perfection. Brilliant.

All so I can start another day on the river feeling ready and refreshed.

So happy you can have some more Aldious to end this SOTD on

[Sunday's shave was a repeat of Friday's., but with Capra Derventio soap instead of Britannia, so no post]
Monday's Shave:

I gave the Blue-tip a damn good clean and got the green off the underside of the plate; this left it ready for my use.

As it is supposed to be super-mild, I was surprised to note that it is pretty much identical to my standard (non-coloured) USA flare-tip. At 45g, nowhere near as heavy as the 68g Red-tip, so needed a bit of extra pressure, but loaded with a Nacet gave a DFS! I suppose this razor was aimed at those doing a tidy up before heading out in the evening, or those with very sensitive skin?

Happy with the razor and the Hibernia soap that I got a travel tin of - I now need to get the splash to match this one, very nice indeed. I finished with Leodis splash as this has citrussy notes in it.

Anyhoo, good start to the week.
Thanks. Glad you like it. Best Regards Brian

Tuesday

Another decent shave with the 1957 Blue tip.

I gifted my brother the Løthur Oregon, despite it being what I thought was a really nice scent. Mrs D thought just said it reminded her of toilet cleaner! Everyone else, including my brother and his Mrs D though it was lovely. I wish our toilets were as nice smelling as that!

Because I had given away one of my 3 Løthur soaps, I got one of the other ones out. Tears it was.

Softer soaps tend to do well with the synth, so I used that.

Turned out grand.

Have a nice rest of the day
