I'm not going to knock any points off this shave for cutting my nostril and having it bleed profusely.
A very decent shave despite my best efforts to sabotage it

Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears with Mint Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Palmolive Classic Shave Cream.
Blade:1950's Gillette Ball End Tech. (US) - Silver Star Super Stainless. (D1)
Razor: Baili BD 191. (Head/Dome) - Silver Star Super Stainless. (D2)

Post:

Early morning Shave,

The dependable Palmolive classic shave cream is such a wonderful performer which creates a rich protective lather with only a small amount giving a great lasting classic fragrance throughout the shave, leaving a good post shave feel.

A enjoyable early comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Tuesday 13 June
After yesterday’s fine shave with the new, to me anyway, My-Blades freebie I thought it ought to get another whiz around my face. Installed in the iKon B1 oc, the pair performed perfectly. So, just as yesterday, a fine soft feeling and 2 passes plus light pick ups for bbs result. The My-Blades business is apparently a very environmentally focused company, products are “manufactured responsibly with superior, recycled stainless steel using clean, fossil fuel-free energy”. No, I’m not on a commission but I think their mission is commendable. However, given my somewhat large stash of unused blades it may be a while before I buy any more.
The Kent bristle was a tad rough but just about ok, bristles from the back end of the animal I suspect. The current rate of hair loss in use will dramatically shorten its life so I suspect I won’t have it much longer.
Londinium soap always a winner for me, as is Condate.

Bloody good shave, this B-20 refuses to die, I've lost track of how many times I've used it but it still feels smooth and mows down everything without complaint.

Easy shave with the razor first set on 5 then on ‘N’ (3) for the second pass. Fancied the fresh grapefruit scent on an already warm morning, realised I now have only one soap with menthol in it the Santa Maria Novella but have a few aftershave’s containing it for the cooling effect.
