Comfortable shave, 3rd and last from the Rapira Chrome. A different new blade loaded in the cleaned razor for tomorrow.
The sun's been shining today it feels much warmer than last week. There's still some snow left around on my walk this morning.

Sunday:

LEA stick
Vulfix 660
Gem OCMM
Gem blade
DR Harris Windsor AS
Nivea Anti irritation ASB

I had about 15 minutes to grab a shower and a shave before going to a christening. With the OCMM and two passes I was smooth enough and out the door. Job done!

Trumpers Sandalwood shaving cream
Henk walnut silvertip
Fatboy gold on 9, 6, 4 with Rapira stainless
Proraso pre/post as post

Very good but a little irritation.

Evening, gents.

Sunday:

Prep: Claus Porto Lime-oil face soap
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic
Blade: Perma-Sharp Super (2)
Brush: Ecotools Kabuki
Shave cream: Palmolive
A/S: Professor Blighty's unscented splash
Cologne: Versace Baby Blue Jeans

I've been travelling for the last few days and so the shaves have been pretty much identical, although yesterday I got to try my HD Rocket:

Prep: Hot shower
Razor: HD Rocket
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Bristle
Blade: NOS Scottish Perma-Sharp
Soap: I Coloniali Mango
Post-Shave: Nivea Sensitive Balm
A/S: Homemade "Jameson" batch followed by Joop
Result: Fantastic. I love this razor.... it's a shame I've let my dad borrow it!

Today's shave, back home:

Prep: Cold Rinse
Razor: Long Comb New
Brush: Heisheng 24mm Pure Badger
Blade: NOS Scottish Perma-Sharp
Soap: Tabac
A/S: Homemade "Jameson" batch
Result: Really caused some irritation with this razor. My first time with a New and I think I need to take a step back and start over with it, especially after reading another topic about them on here earlier today!

Preshave : hot water and lather wash
Brush : men - u boar brush
Super later of palmolive shave stick, Erasmic shaving cream, arko shave stick and tabac shave stick
Razor : valet auto strop razor
Blade : despined, palm stropped gem stainless coated SE

Post shave : cold water, floid " the genuine " lotion and E45 cream

result
A DFS. First time using the valet and quite impressed. A mid aggressiveness razor comparable to my boots De. Maybe not converted to se shaving over De, but maybe I just need to get used to the blade.

Proraso pre/post
Proraso cream
Vulfix 404 brush
Feather Artist Club SS
Pro-Guard Blade
Proraso pre/post
Old Spice AS

A much better result than the first outing with the feather. First time I think I was a bit gung ho as I have used a straight on and off for a few years, it resulted in lots of very small nicks. Tonight though I took more time, paid more attention and gave it a bit more respect.I was rewarded with a very smooth and close shave with only one nick. Right under the septum due to the wrong angle. Didn't need the styptic pencil though and stopped bleeding after a rinse. I could really get to like this razor!
