And just to try I used Snake Brand Active cooling powder Arctic cool which I bought this morning at Tesco Lotus.
Not sure if I used it correctly (last of the post shave) but it seems to do the job.

Feeling fresh, one of my favourite razors was in action this shave, it never fails to deliver.

Brush: Simpson Chubby-2 SiLVERTiP
Razor: OneBlade
Blade: GEM PTFE Stainless (7)
Post: Thayer's witch hazel followed by Derby City Chop Shop Shave tonic
First time with a Chubby-2, Wow! Very nice indeed. Gem blade just keeps on going. Smooth & sharp for an easy 3-pass BBS.

I should have changed the blade, the razor has been in the bathroom for a while with the blade in and I can't remember how many shaves it's had. Clearly one too many as it felt a bit draggy. Persisited (foolishly) and got a decent result, it just wasn't comfortable.

I've finished the Tabac, that's two aftershaves I've finished this week. What to get, what to get?

Bit of irritation after the shave, think I was a bit heavy handed with the ikon.

As the blade for me is reaching its optimum,set the razor on what is supposed to be a mild setting [ L + 1 ] . The shave was so easy in all areas, being very smooth and irritation free , and also very close.
