Definitely a mild razor , similar shave as with a personna blade. Though the shave was smooth and irritation free ,it required 3 passes, and numerous polishing strokes to get a good finish. Will have to try it with Twin Blades , the use of which are supposed to improve it`s performance.

Faturday 30th Jan

Great shave was had. I've grown to like the Feather blades, but I still find they dull very quickly. I find the first shave a little rough, second and third sublime, fourth depends entirely on how much I concentrate. Today was a good shave, slow and steady, ease up on the pressure and lashings of MWF goodness meant a brilliant final shave on that blade.

The first time I've used a Feather in the Hone (thanks @riverrun) and also the first time I've achieved a good shave with one. Actually it was a stunning shave. The Hone tamed the Feather superbly, resulting in DFS and then some, "dolphin smooth", some would say
