Cold Water Splash
NEW LC / Weber Bulldog
Schick #1
Neep Extra Silvertip
MWF
Proraso Post
Speick Splash

very nice 2 pass cold water face lather shave, blade seems fine on shave 1, my last type from the russian blade sampler.

Rapira Lux and Gillette Rubie are the only two i'll avoid at all costs.

Rapira Swedish, Sputnick and Voskhod are possible future purchases

SUNDAY EVENING

Preparing for my first (hopefully) full week of work in a fortnight after this bastard illness (still not 100% better) so thought I'd treat myself.

Aristo #16
Supermax Blue Diamond (2)
Semogue OC Boar
Woodhead suribachi filled with odds n'sods
Witch hazel
Castle Forbes AS balm

Cracking shave all round. Have binned the Supermax as it's so cheap I don't push it at all.

I'll try another Med Prep this week. Surely I must have had a duffer (which is a bit alarming given how expensive they are),

3x face wash with T+H bath soap
simpson brush
volabra stick face lathered
Ford and Medly arrow 5/8
BBR + Astra SP
skin food

first shave in a week and a half, so good beard grown, the arrow mowed it all away easily, except round the point of the chin. the de was used to finish off/touch up i don't use the straight much, so there is a lack of confidence some times. all told a good clean effort, and i only got some weepers from the de naturally!!!!

opus 1870 EdT on this morning.

Prep: Shower
Razor: Schick Injector G8
Blade: Personna Stainless Coated

Another super shave with the G8. My first use of this Simple Balm and I am impressed. It cost £1.99 at Savers for a 100 ml tube. Bargain!

Today's Shave

C.V.Heljestrand No29 (The Swedish Mini )
Kent BK8 Brush
NSS Cedarwood and Vetyver Shaving Soap

Results BSS WTG

It's been a while since I last shaved with this Razor, and boy is it sharp. The microscopic bevel makes it difficult to hone as you just can't see it... But you'd best believe it's there.
Marry that up with the extra thin grind, and the swedish steel, and get things right, even my thick beard is no match for this Swedish little........ psycho.

Happy Days:D
