A wonderful shave, it is amazing just how good this cheap razor shaves! Whilst I still prefer my SE's, this head and the Gillette 'New' are for my tastes the King's of DE razors!

Good shave after leaving the face alone Sunday, off to London today and staying overnight hopefully may have a chance for a walk around the St James area and visit some of the shops that are talked about on that forum - birthday a the end of the month and have permission to buy myself some things for my wife to wrap up! Fancy trumpers skin food, and some tobs shave cream what else can I find.......

Razor: 1914 Ever Ready Lather Catcher
Blade: GEM PTFE coated
Astringent: Thayers Cucumber WH
Post: Proraso White ASB
Fragrance: Tom Ford L'Homme Extreme

Results: First time out with my freshly arrived 1914 lather catcher. My face was a little irritated so used the Otoko which I find is the most cushioning soap I own. What an experience, I could almost hear each hair being cleanly sliced. Wonderful. Couple of weeny weepers, but nothing my alum couldn't handle. Splendid experience.

Results: First time out with my recently acquired Aristo Jnr. I paired this up with NOS English gillette blade that came in a vintage gentleman's valet I set I picked up recently. Razor and blade were excellent and whenever I whip up the Dittmar I am reminded how excellent it is. All in all, a super shave, much savoured.

Pulled out Proraso today. Nice cooling effect for the warmer days and a close, comfortable shave to boot.
