Soap from Aleppo - Semogue SOC two bands - Slant from Russia - Red Personna #2 - Pre JASÖN - Geo F. Trumpers Rose shaving cream - Alum block - Thayers Original - ASB Institut de Karité - ASL Myrsol Antesol.

Tuesday:
Prep: Claus Porto Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJ DE89
Blade: Gillette 7o'clock blue (4)
Brush: The Soap Shed Super Badger
Shave cream: The Real Shaving Company moisturising
A/S: Professor Blighty's Aftershave Lotion - Cicero
I got some nicks around my mouth due to overenthusiasm on my part. The A/S lotion sorted out any redness and a few minutes after the shave you'd never know the shave was less than perfect.
Tuesday:
Prep: Claus Porto Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJ DE89
Blade: Gillette 7o'clock blue (4)
Brush: The Soap Shed Super Badger
Shave cream: The Real Shaving Company moisturising

Brush: EJ BB medium
Cream: TOBS Sandalwood
Razor: Slim adjustable on 3, Personna LAb Blue (1)
Post: Cold water, alum block, Clinique post-shave healer
Had to put this on as it's my first shave with the Slim. Tried very hard not to fall into "new razor mode" and hack away with trembling excited fingers... took my time over everything, careful prep.
Excellent shave... a bit extra stingy with the Alum block, but only a tiny bit sore now... and a BBS result.
Think I should have started off with the setting on #2... will try that tomorrow.
Great way to spend half an hour!

Tuesday Morning
Testing out the Stahly head today, I have attached it to my UFO 2 handle.
Prep: Hot Shower
Cream: GFT Eucris
Brush: New Forest Super Badger
Razor: UFO2 handle with Stahly head.
Blade: Personna Red
Cologne: GFT Eucris
Not a great result, actually it was probably my worst shave since I started DE shaving. This head would not get close for me.

It arrived then - excellent. I found it great but at the right angle. There seems to be a fair range of them that you can shave at. I didn't get it right on my first shave.

Superdrug Forest Fresh a/s
First time with the SFH almond although no stranger to the SFH soaps. This hard soap smelt like Cella but without the sweetness; it's quite bitter and strong, and a hard soap although not at all hard to lather. Superb in fact.
This is the oldest blade that I get on with. I believe it's carbon steel so it's gone in some mineral oil for next (and possibly last) time. Worked really well with the Slim. Partial BBS (90%+)
I'm liking the Forest Fresh although I think I prefer Sierran Breeze. There's more going on with SB and it's got a sweeter smell. I'd buy this again though.
